Summary
Today really is just another day. A day like any other when the two of them are going to meet. However, the pounding and excitement in her heart don’t seem to be completely in sync with that idea.
Well, in the end, it’s understandable. A maiden’s feelings are always complicated to understand. Even more so when the one they belong to is deeply in love.

‘You sound like her, you know? She’s good at speaking confidently; good at fooling you. But, really, inside––she’s fragile. Insecure and scared. Thank God she had you to save the day.’ His smile broadens into something terrifying. ‘It’s a shame. You could have been brilliant if you weren’t wound up in your admiration.’

Phosphophyllite—an aggregate of crystal, shell, gold, stone, and pearl—remembers being on Earth. They remember relishing in the destruction of all the gems, remember facing off with Cinnabar who betrayed them for a machine. Even though this is the case, when they awaken after that fight, they have woken up as the Phos from three hundred years ago. The Phos who had not yet lost themself nor anyone else.
Still, they can't seem to forget.
