Krueger gestured vaguely with a hand. Elegant hands too. Especially for someone who got them so dirty so often. Long fingers. Nikto didn’t know why he noticed. The thought of those elegant hands wrapping around his throat made him pause.
For Nikto there’s only the mission. It keeps him steady, keeps the undertow from pulling him down. He doesn’t need anything else. He doesn’t want anything else.
But Kruegar wants him. He just doesn’t know how to get him.
