    He needs a drink. Well, he's got one, but he needs another fucking drink. He came down here for forgetfulness, for oblivion, for the void. Not for - whatever this other feeling is. 

    Unfortunately, it seems the universe is determined to deny him again. When he steps into the opposing storeroom, he can immediately tell something isn't right. The air is still as a tomb, but something in the tenebral drape of the shadows leads him to the far back corner of the wine racks, his father's rapier drawn in case an unwanted intruder has made their way inside.

    No intruder. But there is someone here. Julien lets his blade drop at the sight of Occtis Tachonis, hunched against the wall.

    In the basement of Hal Fang's house, Julien and Occtis get into another argument.
    This one takes a much more physical turn.
