Summary
There are twelve ships in Earth orbit, avoiding detection, each with an assigned human subject to abduct and study.
The last of them, the understaffed Mission 12, realizes they’ve been sabotaged when their 23 year-old human, Cora, doesn’t fit the subject profile at all. She has a nasty temper, with the skill and strength to back it up, too.
A month later, eleven of these missions have failed, with a massive death toll. Only Mission 12 remains, now with a human who can’t return to Earth, and wouldn’t if she could.
But Cora isn’t just any human, and whoever orchestrated her abduction hadn’t intended to sabotage Mission 12- they intended to sabotage the entire galaxy.

Kori was not going to just take on his oh-so-important duties without a fight. He had shit to do, places to see, and magic to learn. At 57 he had more years than half the life expectancy of a human, yet he was treated as a youngling despite having hit full maturity over five years ago. He had hundreds of good breeding years. Summary
A human male becomes the bearer for a snakeman's egg.
Born in the slums of Earth, Riordan has never thought of looking at the stars. He doesn’t believe in destiny, either, unless it’s the one he’s making with his own two hands. An Earth conquered by aliens, a species that is half human, half snake called Xenos, becomes an unbearable destiny.
So he changes it. The snakemen didn’t force Earth to bend the knee for no reason. They don’t care about Earth’s resources, except for one. Males in their early twenties, beautiful and strong enough to carry the aliens’ eggs.
A species made up of almost only males, Xenos cannot reproduce in other ways. They conquer planets because they need to find bearers for their eggs. Earth appears the most promising of all the worlds they’ve conquered so far. Male human bodies are strong, resilient, and it doesn’t hurt that they’re so physically attractive, either.
Earth must pay tribute, but there’s no need for forcing young men to become bearers. They come in throngs, seduced by the promise of a new world and a life beyond the stars.
Riordan joins their numbers, although he’s not blond and beautiful like them.
But he gets chosen...
