Summary
The bound are fortunate, for they will never be alone. From the moment their bound gives their name, they have full access to the other’s thoughts and emotions.
Fëanáro despises the whole idea. He will never give his name, for his thoughts are his own.
Besides, it matters not how cruel he is to his half-brother. Ñolofinwë, in the least, has two loving parents and a wife who didn’t leave. Fëanáro can only despise him for it.
For all Ñolofinwë hates his brother, he longs for him all the same. Yet Fëanáro has never so much as touched him.
He wishes for his bound, the fëa Eru destined for his since the creation of Eä. Surely they, truly knowing him, will love him, and this prove his half-brother wrong.
This will in no way cause angst later.
In which: sometimes the person you hate the most is also the person you can’t live without, a little somewhat-accidental stabbing is okay, and Fëanáro must feel exactly how broken he makes his brother.

Summary
It's gym period and M.J.'s bench-pressing The Second Sex while deep in speculative thought. So, the way Peter's shirt stretches over his biceps and shoulder blades is not a joke. On the other hand, his eyebrows are always in the middle of an identity crisis, and his lips are kinda thin. His smile, though--really, really nice. First class, one might say. A solid, toothpaste advertisement smile.
Yeah, M.J's not doing great service to Simone de Beauvoir right now.

Summary
Rumours spread like locusts through the palace after the Queen of Attolia’s political marriage. Speculation about the new king’s purportedly empty bed was a subject of particular relish to the gossip-mongers, and, although none would give speech to such vulgarity in the queen’s presence, Attolia was well aware of the rumours. She had ears for listening, after all, and where those ears could not reach, she had informants.
It amused her that, for once, the gossipers were not entirely wrong. For the king’s bed was indeed empty many nights—empty of the king himself.
Set in the early days after the marriage of Attolia to the Thief of Eddis: in which the newlyweds are secretly affectionate, the attendants ignorant, Eugenides commits a spot of thievery, and Attolia gets the best of the bargain.

Summary
Steve has watched them die hundreds of times now. He and the Hulk have been the only ones standing every time he lets it play out to the end. Sometimes the Hulk just stands there roars with anger and anguish. Other times he picks up their lifeless bodies and cradles them, looking confused and lost.
Every time Steve resets the stone, takes them back to the start, to the moment when Tony hands it to him on the jet, and tries again. But he doesn't have much hope now that they will ever make it out alive.
