This is it. This is the moment of truth. In around fifteen minutes a panel of judges will take their seats at the bench in front of her, enumerate her crimes and ask her how she pleads. She knows what her lawyer wants her to say. She knows what Chris wants her to say (and oh, she wants that too, more than she can say, but she finds it so hard to believe that it isn’t simply far too late for any kind of happy ending).
But what does Una want to do? She has fifteen minutes to figure it out.
