Villanelle, a young photographer contacts a writer twenty years her senior to take some portraits of her while she works on her next novel. After exchanging several emails, the writer invites her to spend a few days at her house, a small beach house on the Galician coast, in Spain. Upon arrival, nothing is as she expected. The hostess is distant and refuses to be photographed. Faced with this rejection, the photographer captures those snapshots in her mind, simultaneously fueling her anxiety and desire. This strange cohabitation in a house where everything seems arranged for pleasure will become strained with the appearance of Hélène, a friend of the writer with whom she seems to share an intimacy of blurred boundaries.
