   Summary

   "But even though you're afraid." Veronica says, and she brings the joint to Cheryl's lips and holds it there for her to take a drag. "Do you still want to kiss me?"

   She says it like she's giving Cheryl a choice — a chance to back out, perhaps, or a chance to say no — but Cheryl's eyes flick from Veronica's pretty, pretty lips up to her eyes and she's a little taken aback by the desire she finds there.
