Eddie edged close enough to spot Steve’s bruised lip, the blood streaking one side of his face. “Jesus, what happened to you, man?”
Steve’s knees buckled, and he slumped heavily onto them. Eddie indulged in a split second of indecision—he could just run away. Then he caught Steve, clumsily, before Steve crumpled face-first into the mud. So, there Eddie was, arms wrapped around platinum dickhead, Steve Harrington. He nodded toward a log. “Okay, big guy, do you think you can make it over to that luxurious couch?”

“Soooooo…are you coming down to get me Mr. Stark? Because if I go through your metal detector right now, it will literally light up like a Christmas tree,” Peter mumbled into the phone.

Summary
Buck had always liked the nicknames Eddie used for him. He had particularly liked Cowboy, but since the lightning strike, Eddie didn’t use it anymore.
"Big Boy" was new, and got Buck all putty-like in Eddie’s hands, and he didn’t even know why. Eddie probably didn’t even mean it in any particular way. Afterall, he had no problem saying it in front of everybody else, so Buck didn’t know why it affected him so much.
