Rearranging the furniture, Derek comes across an aluminum bat, and the night he found it feels like a lifetime ago. It’s lost most of its identifying scent, but Derek would still know it’s Stiles’ anyway. A bat may not fight off a demon in one’s head, but it was still a weapon, a personal item. Another loose end.

Derek returns Stiles' bat in an attempt to bring closure after the Nogitsune is defeated AKA a necessary added scene because somehow Stiles got his bat back by Season 4, and Derek had it last.

“Nooooo Ilya, not before the game, Ilya,” he whines, a sweetly mocking imitation of Shane, “and now look at you, mhm? Why should I ever listen to your complaining, baby, when you’re gonna be such an easy, perfect slut for it anyways?”

Yuna slides a folder on the table closer, pulling out two packets of paper. She’d gone all out with the contracts. Mainly, Shane suspected, to ease his nerves about the lines of the relationship. Plus, she was always nothing if not prepared.
She hands one contract to Shane, then another to Rozanov. “As a reminder, this is not legally binding. If either of you wants out early, can’t meet obligations, or wants to change things down the line, that is perfectly fine, and we can work with that. This just lays out the exact timeline of the relationship,” she begins, “down to the start and end dates."
- or, Shane and Ilya never start hooking up in 2010. “The pelt of fur? Looks like a wolf, or maybe one of those big cats?” Yuna says, waving her hand dismissively. “Either way, I don’t think doll brushes are the right choice. We can look into getting him a set of actual grooming tools, he needs to learn that the right tools for the right job are an important-”
“Yuna. Sweetheart.” David interrupts. “I did not buy our son a piece of dead animal as a souvenir from Russia.”
