He can see the thoughts whirling in Magnus’s brain. Magnus had managed to make it four hundred years, patiently waiting and keeping a weather eye on the Lightwood family for the majority of that. And his beautiful, perfect, wonderful soulmate hadn’t even managed to make it three years.
They were disgustingly perfect for each other.

Instead, Arthur’s been left with this young druid called Merlin that parades around half-naked and smiles too much. Bookmarker's Notes
“It’s every wolf’s dream. To find a perfect mate, to procreate. It’s a necessity, it’s healthy. It’s in our blood; akin to the moon in the sky, a wolf belongs to their mate. And humans don’t have the capacity to become a mate.”
“But I love him,” Stiles whispered, begged.
Talia stayed silent for a couple of minutes.
“That’s why you should understand it’s not healthy for him to be with you,” her words were simple and clear, like a piece of glass, but sharp all the same. “He will not find true happiness with you. You’re wasting his time. Preventing him from having a future he deserves.”

Summary
“Hello?” Bilbo answered cautiously. “Thorin?”
“Hello, Bilbo,” came Thorin’s rich voice. The deep, rough tone never failed to send a chill down Bilbo’s spine. “Are you busy?”
“I’m just having dinner …” Bilbo replied, hoping that he would not have to abandon his meal, as he had so many times previously. “Are you in trouble?”
“No.”
“About to be in trouble?”
“No.”
“Done something for which you should be in trouble?”
“No.”In which Thorin fails at asking out his lawyer.
