Summary
Joining the basketball team in high school was only supposed to be something Lucas Sinclair did to make his life easier, never in a million years did he think he’d make a career out of it. Becoming a professional athlete changed everything, including his relationship with Max Mayfield. Their serious relationship turned into a serious long distance relationship, and after that, it turned into a seriously messy breakup after Lucas didn’t come home for last year’s holiday celebration.
Now, Christmas has come again and Steve Harrington insists on making this year’s holiday better than the last by inviting everyone to his family’s winter cabin in the center of a small town outside of Hawkins. Unfortunately, for both Max and Lucas, that means they might have to celebrate together, facing everything they’ve been avoiding the entire year. In the end, all the two want is to have a merry little Christmas and a Happy New Year—if that’s even possible.
