Pepper Potts, CEO of Potts Industries, disappears on a Tuesday afternoon as sunny as any in Malibu. When Tony Stark finds out, he’s listening to the news and going through paperwork, as a good PA does.
On an equally beautiful Saturday morning, Tony’s phone pings and tells him, approximately two hours before the military finds out, that there’s a lead on Pepper’s location.
He hasn’t given his suit—Pepper’s suit—a test run yet. He doesn’t care. Tony locks himself in and flies.

Stephen Strange still wanted to save people. The hurt. The sick. The drowning.
He thought about Wanda’s eyes. How broken and empty they were. How overflowing with pain and despair. Not everyone drowned in water. And if there was one thing Doctor Stephen Strange could do, it was help those in need of saving.Monica Rambeau would rise above. But she did not strive to elevate herself for her own pride or any sense of moral superiority. She rose so that she could lift others up. If Wanda needed a hand to help pull her from the ocean of pain and despair she was sinking beneath, then Monica would gladly reach out and provide it.
Agatha Harkness did not like rules. She would break them at every opportunity. Even the rules of the multiverse. The rules of decency said the Scarlet Witch was too far gone to be saved. To be good. But since when had she shied away from breaking a rule or two? She would take the Scarlet Witch’s cursed hands in her own and drag her back into the light.
Stephen Strange, Monica Rambeau and Agatha Harkness didn't help Wanda before the darkness claimed her. But, much like the Scarlet Witch herself, they always set things right in the end.
