Summary
“Hello, Darling,” you call to her. Her eye monitors snap towards you, effectively flashing light directly into your eyes. This is the closest you have to eye contact. She zooms right at you, hovering slightly higher so that her mouth monitor is what sits just in front of you. It’s the size of your whole head, and you can put the pieces together.
You kiss the screen, and it tastes kind of bad, like she forgot to clean it last time you kissed her. Her tesla coils flutter again, and you wonder if it feels like a real kiss, or if she’s just remembering what kisses felt like and is reacting to that memory.
Both your hands go on either side of her mouth monitor, holding it steady as you kiss her again and again, not caring about the taste anymore.
