Trinity never found Dennis on the eight floor after PitFest, she went home like everyone else who had a home to go to. Which left Dennis hiding out like a ghost in the hospital until it started to drive him crazy. Just when the never ending hum of the hospital had wormed its way under Dennis’ skin like a rash and he couldn’t take another second of it Robby found him on the roof and offered him a home. Summary
Robby turns away from the room himself, stepping half back into the hall and the darkened corridor allows the rest of the logical argument against this decision to come flashing through his head: He is a student. You are his superior. He is half your age. You do not care enough about that. If his crush on you doesn’t undo you both, your attraction to him will. He tries to filter through the thoughts, fight them back with the only rational justification he has: He needs help and I can help him. The right thing to do is help him. I need to do the right thing just once tonight.

Summary
As Robby lifts his shirt up, Dennis is overcome with the need to bury his face in his armpit until he passes out. The gold chain with its Star of David that he always wears rests just below his collar. As Robby strips off, Dennis allows himself a longing look.
Yeah, Dennis admits to himself, he’s down pretty bad.
He’s certain that the fishing trips his brothers took with their dad didn’t have this additional complication – that of the man taking them being so hot they’d want to cry. Trinity’s comment, ‘daddy wants to take you to the woodshed,’ bounces around in Dennis’s head.
-Robby takes Dennis out on a fishing trip. Neither of them expected it to end this way.

“Our apartment had a leak, Trinity went to a friend’s house. Thought I’d just wander around but I figured that was a stupid idea. Was probably a stupid idea to come here too.”
Whitaker usually wasn’t this nervous. Robby couldn’t blame him, though. He'd be nervous too if he ended up on his ex’s doorstep.
