Summary
The Wizarding World is on the verge of a very dark war, and for some reason the only people who can help it are a fourteen year old boy and an American witch with an odd power she knows nothing about. Emma Harper isn't entirely sure why Dumbledore offered her a transfer to Hogwarts, and she isn't entirely sure why she accepted it, but she did and she is about to be in way over her head.

Summary
"Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now"
After the Battle of Hogwarts, the Wizarding World is rebuilding and everyone is full of hope for a new beginning to an era of peace but Hermione just can't see what everyone else does. The only thing keeping her moving through life is her work ethic as she attends her last year at Hogwarts and the hope that one day her parents might recognize her again. As she attends classes she finds herself spending more and more time with Fred who has decided to open up a shop in Hogsmeade.
