From waking up on a surprisingly occupied island, to being trained by a secret master haki user for five years, or to being hounded by marines, pirates, and illegal organizations; you don't know if you could consider yourself lucky or not. That is until you encounter the most obnoxious guy on the seas within the first week of setting sail independently.
And God does it feel impossible to ignore the fact he's hot.
You stick around for the giggles and shits, and definitely not because you were chased off an island by marines. Though adventuring with the spade pirates was fun, you have business to attend to. You'll never see the guy again, you assume.
That is, until the shithead pops right back up eight months later and almost blows your cover! Oh boy, what now?

you and ace dance around eachother, spend some time apart, and then dance around eachother againoh and btw, everyones sick of it

In pursuit of this normalcy, you're able to land a job as a secretary at the newly established Ground Zero: Dynamight Agency.
To the staff, you are the suspiciously overqualified office woman who handles patrol schedules, police reports, and Bakugo Katsuki’s temper without breaking a sweat. To the Commission, you remain one of their most valuable operatives.
And to Bakugo, you are his irritatingly competent assistant.
The same assistant he might, possibly, definitely be falling for.
