Summary
During his trial at Huan Hua Palace, a disciple mistakenly puts the Diadem of Life's Purpose on Shen Qingqiu instead of the Diadem of Unsavory Truths! Shen Qingqiu must get through this trial with this minor truth-compelling artifact and then go on to fulfill his 'life's purpose' in order to remove the crown!
-
Title from the song The Place Where He Inserted the Blade by Black Country, New Road.

Shen Qingqiu smiled. He opened his mouth. This one's purpose is to make sure Luo Binghe grows up well, he went to say.
That was not what he said.
He watched as the words left his mouth, as his sect's faces dropped. Yue Qingyuan and Luo Binghe turned pale. Qi Qingqi, confused. Mu Qingfang, upset but not surprised. Liu Qingge and the various disciples, angry.
"This one's purpose in life is to die."
"What do you mean by that, shixiong?" Mu Qingfang asked softly.
Shen Qingqiu quickly thought of a way to mitigate. Well, isn't everyone's purpose in life to die? Is that not the circle of life? He means to say.
Instead, what comes out of his mouth is, "My sole purpose in life is to be murdered and allow those I have wronged to enact their revenge."Bookmarked by mac_n_quack
