Summary
After years crawling your way up to secure a job as a glorified accountant for a corrupt stock broker, you fall into monotony. You spend your days ensuring the finances for Gothams' filth are up-to-code, something you begrudgingly decided to take on as a means to survive. But the work is dull. Your coworkers aren't interesting, your boss is average at best, and your career progression depends on how much depravity you're willing to get into.
However, you start to notice that somebody is watching you. It starts off in your sleep, unbeknownst to you, and ramps up to such a high degree that you're driven mad. You don't know who it is. All you know are the notes left on your desk, your increasing paranoia of electronics, and his ragged breathing in the dark. You know the tight grip of hands wrangling your arms behind your back. You know the sound of his completion. You know his corrections. You know the bruises. But you don't know The Riddler.
But The Riddler knows you all too well. Knows what you do and who you help keep safe in Gotham. He knows your routines and when to make you repent for the lies you tell. And you WILL repent.

My fingers came up and gently trailed along the black marker marring my skin. My eyes lowered. It wasn’t the large, black, boldly displayed letters that spelled out the word WHORE across my chest that had me truly crippled with fear in that moment, but the letters printed beneath them, below my belly, across my lower abdomen… large, menacing... a word with more far reaching implications than the simple derogatory insult someone who would drug and rape a woman might throw at them. No, this was far more unsettling, far more frightening. Drawn across my lower bellow, just above the neatly groomed curls nestled between my legs, written in black maker, in capital letters, was the word MINE.
