Though Sherlock doesn't fully trust him, he chooses to let James stay and earn his forgiveness. They open a small detective agency and take on their first case: helping a young prostitute named Justin Austin bring down Sebastian Cranfield, a wealthy murderer and rapist. As they plan a dangerous undercover operation, unresolved tension and mistrust between Sherlock and James resurface, forcing them to confront their complicated relationship.
