She lifts the glass up to her lips, and behind it she utters with a roll of her gaze up to the ceiling, “Because you’ve only had pure thoughts about me, of course.”
“Well…” he goes, cautious as he contemplates. “As opposed to what thoughts am I supposed to have of you?”
She stares him down because, oh, wouldn’t he like to know? And then, with a flickering moment in the eye contact, it’s like he does.
Unsteady, quiet, he tries instead, “What thoughts did you want me to have of you?”

Dazai so desperately wants to be with Oda. At the same time, a new organization to Yokohama is looking to disrupt her and the Port Mafia to claim ability users for themselves. Dazai and Oda fall in love, and the Port Mafia risks falling apart.

On the table are plates and silverware and glasses, all how Stiles laid it out hours ago when the plan was Chris would be coming home for dinner that Stiles made. Chris takes in the scene before him, the table setting, Stiles’ phone by his arm, the silent fuming on his face, and he sighs, heavy.
“Baby, why are you still up? It’s nearly three am.”
“Don’t baby me,” Stiles snaps and Chris frowns. Yeah, that’s right, here we go. “Where the hell were you? That’s why I’m still up.”

“I’m upstairs with one of the boys,” Hirotsu says once Kouyou greets him on the other end.
“Oh? Which one?”
“Dazai.”
She clucks her tongue, unsavory. She has a favorite and it’s not this one. “Well, what does he want this time?”
Hirotsu pauses. Studies Dazai’s haggard state. The way he leans limp against the pillar like a ragdoll propped atop some child’s bed and pillow, the way even then he’s trying to curl up into himself because surely he’s in pain. Hirotsu has never been in the room for it, but he knows Mori is not kind with him.

Dazai exhales. Should is such a funny little word. What an endless and entirely unknown depth such a word withholds. Should they talk about Dazai’s obsession with death? Should they talk about how Dazai loves Oda so? Almost equally as strong as the obsession with death? Maybe even more?
Dazai picks neither, to instead be honest about something else altogether. “We should talk about my legs.”
