Summary
Lloyd Garmadon, the son of evil Lord Garmadon, is a warlord-in-training, the terror of his high school, and all-around bad news. The Green Ninja is a hero, tirelessly fending off evil and protecting the city alongside the rest of the Secret Ninja Force.
Nobody suspects the truth about either of them.
(Or: Lloyd has his cake and eats it too. How hard can it be to keep things that way?)

Summary
*"The hell do you mean 'pretty terrible'? It worked!" "Keep telling yourself that, dude."
Matt’s crush on Gus starts the way all his crushes do: with him pulling pigtails and doing cartwheels. He’s a born show-off, chasing a never-fully-grasped spotlight. Anything that can catch his crush’s attention, he’ll do - even if it means acting like a fool.
Matt wants Gus to ask him to be his Valentine. It's a game of gay chicken but only one party knows they're playing.

She rushes off.
“Huh,” Ojiro mutters. “Little weird.”
“Yeah.”
What’s weirder is the tingling in his shoulder from where he brushed up against her. He rolls it out, shakes his hand, tries to get the feeling off.
“You okay?” Ojiro cocks his head, tail standing up. “Didn’t think she hit you that hard.”
“Yeah, it just…feels tingly,” he says, which is strange, because normally he wouldn’t have mentioned it at all, but something compelled him to open his mouth.
hitoshi gets hit with Open Book. too bad he has a crush on his patrol partner.
