The grunts and curses were barely muffled by the wall between them, giving Tooru all sorts of ideas about what Hajime was doing to herself past the locked door. She cursed under her breath, squeezing her eyes hard and leaning onto the kitchen counter to take a grounding breath through the nose- only to run straight into part two of the problem: the house was dripping in the scent of heat.
