Summary
After the sun sets, the streetside bars and restaurants of Spain wake up from their slumber, bustling with tourists and locals alike. Even though Lovino had agreed to join the group for dinner – this is the last night of their little group vacation, so might as well – he's soon grown irritated by all the noise at the table. So he goes outside to catch some air.
Their steps grow slow the further they walk in, the closer they get to the water – lights and sounds of the city dying down as they go.
Somehow, Lovino’s nervous. It feels like he's walking for the first time again. He's not sure why.Bookmarked by maya91011

Summary
Initially fought between Sicilian rebels and Charles of Anjou in Sicily and Southern Italy, the War of the Sicilian Vespers expanded when Aragon intervened in Sicily to support the rebels and claim the throne. The war ended in 1302 in the Peace of Caltabellotta, by which Sicily became an independent kingdom ruled by the House of Barcelona.
Thus began the 500 year reign of Spain’s dominion over Southern Italy.

Summary
Antonio has lost his memory. Aside from basic knowledge about the human world, he knows nothing about this one. Yet the moment he wakes up in a hospital bed, he's swept into the arms of a handsome Southern Italian man? That’s certainly not the kind of welcome he ever expected—but far from unpleasant. It’s only as things unfold that Antonio begins to suspect the truth: he just might be Lovino’s kept lover.

Summary
"It had scared him, at first, the depth of feeling he had for Spain even after so many centuries; making him feel like he wasn’t tethered to the earth. Now, it grounded him; kept him solidly in his body even on days when he felt like vanishing. It didn't matter how many decades passed, the love Romano felt for Spain was constant and bottomless and he was secure in the knowledge that Spain felt the same."
Spain and Romano spend a day by the sea. They may have been married for decades but they're still as in love as ever.
