When someone is in love, don't you think they should know it?
When you already kill people, and have already died, loving someone so much that you would kill or die for them doesn't mean as much. But when you are living with, sleeping with, and working with the person you love most in the world, it should probably occur to you that you might be in love with them much sooner than it occured to Jason.

Jason is friends with benefits and platonic life partners with Roy. It's only just occurred to him that nothing would change if he were to be in love with Roy, the next question is: is he in love with Roy?

Dick Grayson loves his siblings more than life itself. He had always wanted to be a big brother, the first couple months notwithstanding. And then he... wasn't anymore. And that hurt more than words could describe.
But it's years later and his first little brother is back, even if he barely wants anything to do with them. And he should've tried harder, he should've pushed him to accept his family's love.
Because now his first little brother is dead, again, and it's all his fault.

Tim Drake dons Red Robin and goes looking for proof that Bruce is still alive, but finds himself a prisoner of the League of Assassins, where he meets his strange masked cell mate.

Bilbo’s brow furrows slightly. “Really? Why’s that?”
Bofur only shrugs. “Just happened tha’ way, I s’ppose. Thror married an older lass, and then she died a whiles before ‘im- and then, o’course, he wasn’t much of a mind to find another, considerin’... all those later times. So it’s been an extra, oh… seven’ty, eighty years?”
He looks to Balin, who nods in agreement. Bilbo finds that this answers none of his questions.

Clean. Controlled. Predictable, in the way that wins games.
He doesn’t get rattled by rookies, no matter how fast they are or how hard they hit.
So whatever’s going on with Peter Parker isn’t a problem. It’s not about the way he plays, or the way he keeps showing up exactly where Johnny doesn’t expect him, or the way the game keeps slipping out of Johnny’s hands when he’s there.
And it’s definitely not about the fight.
It’s just one bad game.
