Summary
In the expansive land of nothing but white Zuko hears Him. A voice that belongs to no one. He says many things, brings a million memories and thoughts to the forefront of his mind. Then He's joined by Her, and together they shake the foundations of Zuko's already cracking reality. Doubt creeps in, a slow trickle now opened up for a rush. Is it wrong? Was it wrong? Was it ever right?
He's not so sure anymore.
The crew hasn't been sure in a longtime. There is a reason, afterall, they all ended up on a banished Prince's ship. So with doubt already here, the question becomes, "Is he worth it?" Now Prince Zuko proves that yes, he is worth it. Worth the final act of defiance and doubt that there is no coming back from. Then what?

Summary
Day 2 - Embarrassment
There's a puff of hot air beside him as Zuko huffs a sigh and slouches just a little. "You two are teaming up on me."
There's a moment of silence before Suki's easy smile that she always wears when the three of them spend time together goes dangerous, "Don't we always?"
"You love it, Zuks." He nudges his shoulder into Zuko's, forgetting about the hand on him for only a moment. The exchange of contact, or the teasing, is apparently all Zuko needs to move his hand from incidentally brushing against his semi to the full weight of his palm landing heavy and hot. Sokka can't help the way his hips try to jerk up into the touch before he forces them down. While Zuko's hand rests, staying tortuously still against his covered dick that is rapidly growing in interest, Sokka shoots a panicked glance at Zuko, to Suki, and back at Zuko. He's not exactly known for being quiet, she's going to figure it out.

Or, Zuko, in the middle of one of their rare dinners with Suki, starts giving Sokka a handjob underneath the table. Sokka can't help but to let him, even as the idea of Suki figuring out what's going on. She does, of course, and it's a very good thing.Series

Day 1 - Bratting
"One last chance. Get up and put your pajamas on, Sokka."
"What're you going to do if I don't?" Sokka grins slow, never once breaking eye contact. If Zuko is tired he'll snap a little but ultimately do nothing because he just wants to sleep. If Zuko isn't tired Sokka expects there'll be hands on him shortly.
In the blink of an eye Zuko's at the end of the bed, too-hot hands wrapping around Sokka's ankles and tugging him down the length of the mattress. The movement rucks his shirt up, revealing his stomach to the warmly lit room. He doesn't yelp. Don't ask Zuko to confirm that, though, not with the humor dancing in his eyes like little flames.
"Hey! I was comfortable!"
"And conveniently ignoring the rules." Zuko's hands briefly drag up his exposed skin before grabbing underneath his arms and yanking him up to standing.

Summary
Still several paces away he drops into a full bow, formal in the way he'd been coached at the beginning of his role as Ambassador, but never had reason to use. Until now, that is. His forehead presses to the floor that is somehow miraculously cool despite the roaring flames not all that far away. And he does not rise from it immediately thereafter like he normally would with a cursory dip in more public settings. Instead he kneels there, forehead to the ground, and bites his tongue to prevent himself from speaking first. The silence stretches. His heart begins to race, an anxious knot growing in his stomach, as the Fire Lord's eyes presumably bore into his form and still says nothing.
The Fire Lord's voice does not break the tension when he finally says, "Ambassador Sokka."

OrSokka thinks Zuko being Fire Lord is hot. He's like crazy into the "What-If's" it presents. They fuck about it. On the throne. Obviously.

"Stop." He pulls up short. He hadn't even taken a full step. "Make yourself comfortable because you're keeping your hands to yourself tonight."
Without even thinking Sokka's knees hit the large fur that blankets their floor. He settles back onto his feet, hands in his lap, and eyes trained on his husband.
"Good," Zuko's voice is low with the praise, and rasping. It sends a shiver down Sokka's spine, and he would never admit to the way his breath hitches."

Zuko has had enough of Sokka's constant touch in public. So, he decides to teach him where exactly the line is by making him watch. No touching, just watching. Maybe now he'll finally learn his lesson.

He released a steady breath, gave another half-truth, “Just… time. Love between kids doesn’t always survive growing up, you know? And we grew up a lot faster than most.” He turned to look back at Zuko, found him unmoved, still watching his face, and he’d been compelled to give the other half of it, “She told me I was running and she wasn’t the one meant to stop me… not sure what I’m running from, but,” he’d shrugged again, “I’ll know when it catches up to me,” then lifted his hands to bring them together in a resounding clap, “Or I run right into it.”
...
(Or: Alone once again, restless, and running from... something, Sokka dedicates himself to what he does best- keeping his family safe. When he uncovers the seeds of a plot to assassinate the Fire Lord, he rushes to his side to stop it before it starts. Maybe he'll find what he's running from along the way.)
