Summary
“I really want to get out of here," he rasps out.
Neil smirks, without an ounce of real amusement in it. “I really want you to get out of here.”
Kevin frowns, “I can’t really tell if you’re being a prick to me or if you’re just trying to be kind,” he deadpans.
“You’re free to interpret it as you want,” Neil shrugs, back to his usual attitude, “But I like my solitude, and I never planned to be–” locked in here, he’s about to say, but reminding Kevin about their predicament won’t do him any good. He changes it instead. “Here with you, so,” he lets his statement open.
Or, where ending up locked in a janitor room with a stranger ends up not being so bad for Neil.

Summary
He'd never hurt Neil in such a visible place until this day, and if whatever had snapped in him drove him to give up the pretense of the picture-perfect Wensninski family, then staying under his roof was not an option anymore for him, not if Neil wanted to live.
He had to run.
Or, where Neil escapes to his coach's place for shelter from Nathan's temper but discovers he wasn't the only one who'd thought to do the same, finding his boyfriend-not-boyfriend and his childhood friend there.

Summary
He would never force Andrew through something he didn't want, but he needed to admit, at least to himself, that him deciding that he didn't want to accompany Neil through his decision would break him a little bit inside, taking with him a piece of him that could never be filled again.
But he won't let himself be like them, and so, he wants him to choose for himself.
Or, where Neil is pregnant and he needs to tell Andrew.

Summary
Kevin was the world, as everything came back to him, like the catalyst he acted as. Andrew was the flesh of the entity they shaped together, their hearts merged and singing to the same tune. And Neil was the devil with quick thinking and sharp moves, always in control to make sure that no one who he cared about would get hurt on his watch, even if that meant betting with his own life.
Or, how the three of them represent the enemies of the soul, kind of.

Summary
Neil Josten is used to the grotesque smell of blood and its crimson hue, but he never would've guessed that Andrew Minyard, the school’s rebel and less well-mannered student, would find him hiding from his own terrors in between rackets and Exy balls with it falling down his arms.
Or, where they attend a catholic school and help each other find their own footing even in a place that doesn’t exactly accept their past and current selves.
