Rozanov pulls all the way back, mouth releasing his cock with a noise that makes Shane’s hips rock up into nothing.
“Rozanov,” he begs again.
“Hmm?” Rozanov asks, kissing Shane’s shaking thigh gently. “You need something?”
“You— fuck— you said I could come,” Shane says, trying and failing to keep the accusatory note out of his voice.

“I did!” Shane insists, just a hint of a whine in his tone now. Rozanov smirks at him.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he says. “My first name.”

“You are… disappointed,” he ventures, but it comes out as more of a question than he was intending.
Yuna turns in the passenger’s seat to give him a small, sad smile. “We know you boys must be,” she says. “It was a rough game. But—”
“I am team captain,” Ilya interjects quickly, immediately. “Was my fault.”
“Hey, no, Ilya,” Shane shushes him, shifting to lean into his side now fully. “It’s a team sport, you know that. It’s just—first game of the season, it’s hard to get in the groove. We’ll get there.”

After being traumatically outed two years ago, Shane and Ilya's relationship and their lives have been fundamentally changed, and most days, Shane thinks that's a good thing. But sometimes, the pressure of being out, and the endless online speculation about #hollanov, and rumors running rampant through the NHL, and a new generation of rookies looking up to them, and the knowledge that everyone is relying on Shane Hollander to be perfect at all times—sometimes it's a lot.
But Shane's dealing with it. Ilya seems happier than he's ever been, and Shane just needs to get his act together to support his husband. He can do that. He needs to, and he will, if he doesn't crack under the pressure first.
They've got a second Stanley Cup to win, after all.
