Summary
Mike Wheeler got a haircut.
That’s the first thing Will noticed as he and Jonathan stood on the Wheelers’ doorstep, arms loaded with moving boxes and cheeks tinged slightly pink in the crisp fall air.
His previously shoulder-length curls now rested just above his brow, still messy in the most adorable way. Mike always complained about how he could never get them to lie flat, but Will thought they were perfect. And—not that Will was looking—but his friend’s face had filled out, too, all sharp angles except for his soft, pink lips. Lips that had been featured repeatedly in many of Will’s fantasies.
“You coming in, or do you need a minute?” Mike asked, voice warm and teasing.
Will’s grip tightened on the box in his arms.
