Summary
Thomas works for WCKD, an underground drug Cartel disguised as a medical facility, as the deadliest assassin in The Last City. He's ruthless and loyal, always following through on instructions, until one encounter with a rebel leader changes his entire perspective. Now, he and Newt, the leader of the biggest rebel group, are forced to put their differences aside for the future of humanity. What once started as a thoughtless mission turned into a battle against the very organization that trained him, leaving Thomas with no choice but to go against everything he's ever known, for revenge.

In the middle of nowhere, there is a small, small town called Providence. In this town, the sun comes up, goes down, and comes up again, and nothing changes because everything already has.
(Everything is fine until Thomas disappears. Newt has to find him without getting lost himself, which is a lot harder than it sounds.)
