  Summary

"If I wanted to stop, would you be mad?"

Ilya frowned and shook his head no.

"We push you with Hockey because you wanted and to learn. when you were little, remember?"

That made Masha look away. Ilya could feel the tears prickle in his eyes. When I didn't feel so far away from you. When I didn't feel like you're somewhere I can't reach and I don't understand what I did wrong.

He of course didn't say that. Ilya sucked in a breath

"You can do whatever you want. You just have to talk to us, about it. Ballet, Painting, Ice skating? whatever-"

Masha looked amused. He met Ilya's eyes again and muttered back, almost in disbelief

  "Ice skating?"

"Da. But we're gonna have to ask for back up. I'm sure your aunt Sveta, or your grandma know more."

He breathed a little easier. He would take his teenager mocking him playfully, than hate. Any day.

  Or:

After a tragic accident, Shane and Ilya's life is looking up. Their two daughters and them, against the world. Until their teenager starts acting weird, and they lose their minds.

And the truth, is something neither of them was prepared for

They daughter didn't feel like a girl.
