Summary
An old legend once told by Sasori's sensei turns out to be true. The Myōmoto Clan really does have the ability to become immortal with the proper sacrifices. A Myōmoto by the name of Jashin is trying this ability out on outsiders and slowly building a cult around him. When Sasori attempts to take a Myōmoto girl to be his puppet, the life he envisioned for himself unravels like old thread.
This is the story of the sister of Jashin, the betrothed of Hidan, and, she'd like to think, the daughter of Sasori of the Red Sand.

She honestly felt like one of his unfinished projects, and the fear that she’d somehow been tricked into becoming one of them – a corpse turned puppet, remodeled but retaining an eerie resemblance to her human self – was ever present.
That was until she realized the level of intensity in Sasori’s gaze towards her; he was not just admiring his handiwork of neat ties. He was looking at her body, the pale flesh and the reddened imprints of rope burns from the few places she was left with some wiggle room.
“Beautiful.” he rasps, sincere emotion heavy in his voice, a kind that she did not think him capable of expressing anymore.
Or: Konan and Sasori violate the code of conduct in a workplace environment.
