Optimus could only watch helplessly as the rogue Decepticon squeezed the life out of Sam's body, before dropping him to the ground and escaping. He could only watch when Sam smiled up at him weakly-- as if he weren't dying. He could only watch as the last flicker of life left Sam's body. He could only watch.

She visited that train station more times than she could count, hoping-- praying for a miracle, but there was always nothing. Before she knew it, fifteen years had passed and Chihiro had become an adult. An adult stuck in the 'fantasies' of her youth-- dreaming of a dragon boy.
On the brink of giving up, she decides to visit one last time and finds her beloved bathhouse waiting for her. But things are not the same.
