Summary
Jane and Lisbon move to Austin as a new couple with new jobs working for the FBI. Their long-awaited relationship deepens quickly, and they begin dreaming of their future. The couple faces unexpected tests, but they meet them together and arrive back at their island paradise for their wedding in front of friends and family.
This story is a sequel to Paradise in an AU in which Lisbon takes Abbott's offer to Jane on the island, and they confess their love for each other there. This story diverges from canon in many ways, including that Kim Fischer and Marcus Pike do not appear, Vega's backstory is changed, and cases are changed or omitted.

It all started with an inconvenient erection and an honest question. Are you attracted to me? What if Jane and Lisbon were intimate before there was enough trust to navigate the feelings that arise? How would that impact their partnership and how they move forward both as individuals and with each other? Alternative universe from 2x11 but I retain the right to pull in elements from later episodes as I choose. Should expect spoilers through the end of the RJ arc. Partially alternative RJ arc with a few darker scenes. I can’t promise anything but a happily ever after. Expect angst. And, as the rating suggests, there are a number of very explicit scenes in this story.
