Summary
Macaque comes back to life over a thousand years after his death and immediately decides he wants nothing to do with Sun Wukong ever again. Unfortunately, not seeking revenge on the Great Sage makes his second life only minutely less stressful. He's incredibly weak from his impromptu resurrection, the Lady Bone Demon wants to collect his debt to her, and on top of that, Sun Wukong seems intent on hunting him down.
With practically no magic left, unwilling to go back to the Diyu, and refusing to help in destoying the world, Macaque flees. Maybe if he continues to be slippery enough, Wukong, his new stupidly optimistic successor and his friends, and the Lady Bone Demon will leave him alone.
In hindsight, it's laughable to think he could escape them.

Summary
“ Levi didn’t think to remove his armband at first. He just looked around, his drug-muddled mind trying to take in his surroundings. Hange stood before him and Erwin, not saying anything, but looking deeply upset. Suddenly, they stepped forward and grabbed his armband, yanking it.
“Take that off.” They said abruptly, and tugged quite hard on his shirt, but the armband didn’t budge. Surprised, Levi didn’t say anything, just blinked up stupidly. Luckily, Erwin replied for him.
“It’s sewn on.” He informed them. He wanted to reach up and cover the wretched symbol upon his own arm, but that was impossible with his disability. Instead, he covered Levi’s, resting a hand on his bicep that Levi looked down at, but he still did not speak.
Hange’s face changed, they appeared even more upset. “That’s disgusting.” They said, knitting their brows tightly.
“Here,” They said, and unbuttoned their cloak, draping it over Levi’s shoulders and covering up that scarlet letter with the wings of freedom.”
Levi and Erwin were captured during the return to Shiganshina. They spent the last four years as prisoners of war in Marley. But even when they are rescued by the Scouts, they have a long road ahead of them.

“Levi made sure he was the last one aboard the airship. He knew he was the quickest and the strongest, he had to make sure all the others were safe before he himself escaped. As the airship loomed overhead, he whipped his head back and fourth, looking around amidst the noise and chaos for any remaining Scouts still fighting in Libero. He saw none, but as he turned to escape himself, he heard a voice scream from the airship.
“CAPTAIN!!!”
It sounded desperate, terrified, he whipped around and looked up, but that was as far as he got. Something hard made contact with his forehead and he staggered back, disoriented and stunned. A pair of Marleyan soldiers ambushed him. One clocked him across the head with the barrel of a shotgun, and the other attempted to tackle him as he reeled back. The Scouts looked on in horror.”
