Summary
The problem is – and it’s not even really a problem, Shouyou’s just a glutton – he misses it all too much when he goes home.
The bickering, the physical contact that could either be a jubilant hug or violent wrestle depending on the day and mood. The mind reading, the easy comfort of being exactly yourself. Shouyou never has any worries when he’s with Kageyama – they’re either soothed away or beaten out of him and never knowing quite which method he’ll get is an adrenaline rush.
And Shouyou is a junkie.

Summary
This is not an international booty call, no matter what Ryuu says. This is a buddy backpacking trip along the French Riviera, totally platonic, and because this also happens to be Asahi's first time traveling outside of Japan, Nishinoya has already decided that (no pressure) this trip must be absolutely one-hundred-percent-plus-shipping-and-handling perfect. Asahi is going to have the time of his life, whether he wants to or not.
(But hey, if the natural romantic magnetism of the Riviera just so happens to prompt Asahi to fall madly in love with him? And if Nishinoya just so happens to do everything in his power to nudge that process along a little bit? Well...)

Summary
Hinata sends Kageyama good morning and good night texts, he tells Kageyama stories about his roommate, his job, and about volleyball. Always volleyball. It never gets annoying, or overwhelming, or boring. In fact, it doesn’t do enough to soothe the ache of missing his best friend.
Hinata also sends pictures. So many pictures. Too many pictures.
The pictures are usually silly and cute, (like Hinata, his brain supplies unhelpfully), snapshots of his sunny days in Rio. But between the pictures of sunsets on the beach and funny road signs and new recipes Hinata is trying out, he sends pictures of himself.
The problem is: Kageyama likes the pictures a little too much.
Or: Hinata gets unbearably hot during his years in Brazil, and it makes Kageyama open his stupid lust-addled mouth to say all the wrong things. The way Hinata responds, he wonders - hopes - that they're actually all the right things.

Summary
Rice Village said the sign, in faded, peeling letters. Behind the group of villagers was a fence of bamboo and further on, scattered minka—old, rural-style houses with thatched, gabled roofs. Front and centre was Naruto, wearing his trademark orange and a huge grin. Still boyish and round, he couldn't have been more than eighteen.
A rice farmer. Naruto was a rice farmer.
(Or, the AU where Sasuke returns after eight years away to discover that Konoha has changed, Naruto is a surprisingly adept rice farmer, and he may have missed him a lot more than he thought.)

Summary
"What?" Satoru laughs "Picture so it lasts longer?"
Suguru shrugs, putting his phone back into his pocket. "We'll eventually forget what the place looks like bare."
Satoru smirks a little, almost fondly, like Suguru's being sentimental, so Suguru supposes it's good he didn't add, maybe I'll eventually forget what you look like, nineteen and with your head caught flame in a sunbeam. So I’m just making sure.
•
Or: Their new place tastes like freedom and youth, and yet all Suguru does is want, and want, and want.
