Summary
He remembers the first time Kaz Brekker offered him a place, back when he was hiding by the canals, the damp stone pressing cold into his back. The offer came with a price he understood immediately: the slow erosion of whatever morality he still carried. He had said he did not like hurting innocent people. In answer, Kaz had given him nothing but a raised eyebrow and a flat, unimpressed stare.
“There is no innocence in the Barrel,” Kaz had said. “And your morality will not keep you alive here.”
He should have realised the real reason Kaz Brekker employed him, but his wit could never rival the devil’s.
——or: a story of revealed secrets, wise friends and a new-found belief that the "trick to falling, is getting back up".

Summary
Marinette Dupain-Cheng is top of the class. Straight A's, perfect attendance, and editor-in-chief of her university's premiere fashion magazine.
Or... she would be top of the class, if it weren't for her academic rival Adrien Agreste.
They've been competing for everything since their freshman year of college. If Marinette gets a 99, he gets a 100. If she gets an internship, he gets a better one.
Now in their senior year of college, they're ready to fight it out one more time to win student journalist of the year — and the scholarship that comes with it. But when a semester-long project forces them to team up, everything changes.
If they want to remain in consideration for the award, they'll have to figure out how to work together. Because in the cutthroat world of academia — and journalism — failure is not an option.Series

Summary
Marinette could go on about why she hated Adrien Agreste—from his unfunny pranks to his ineffable attractiveness—ever since he had the audacity that day with the umbrella.

Summary
Arthur is relieved when Balinor the Dragonlord agrees to help, but dismayed when he refuses to come back to Camelot. Instead, Arthur is stuck waiting in the middle of nowhere while Balinor calls the dragon. To make matters worse, Arthur’s idiot manservant clearly has a massive crush on the guy: despite him being a grumpy, straggly, cave-dwelling sorcerer, who makes terrible cabbage pottage, Merlin hasn’t taken his eyes off him! Arthur will tolerate this nonsense for a couple of days, but only because he must save Camelot.
