Summary
Absent father, neglectful mother, but the brother’s there: fathering, mothering, even when he’d rather not, even when he’s had enough, choking on the mouthfuls of responsibility, his throat working around it in painful swallows, worse than medicine, worse than the burning sting of skunky shitty beer. But, he soldiers through, because that’s what a parent does.

Or, Andrew suspects Ashley's hiding something from him and he loses his shit.

Summary
“Oh, shit.”
Shane’s head whips back, clipping Whitney’s mouth, slicing his teeth into his own lip.
“Ow! Fucking—cunt.” Whitney grips Shane’s hair in a fist but Shane ignores him, pointing at the lake.
“Fuck—Whitney!”
The girl in the audience sees it before he does. Her scream echoes over the lake and finally Whitney stops, looking through the reeds at the edge of the water. At first he thinks it’s a clump of dead plants, just more of the nasty shit that washes up on shore. But once he sits back on his heels, he sees the slack, gaping lips, the dull eyes, both wide open against the muddy water.

Summary
When Utica wakes up from a restful coma and finds out she’s been drafted for a war, what will she do? Whacky antics will ensue, that’s for sure! (Warning: Will include death and war crimes. Some of your favourite queens will die, there’s nothing I can do about it.)
