“What did this girl do, take your virginity?” Frank asked, and Peter was suddenly quiet. “Peter… you’re still a virgin?” His tone wasn’t exactly judgmental, more curious.
Peter chugged the rest of his beer. There was no use denying it, but he didn’t want to confirm it either. So he stayed silent, arms crossed. “It’s just,” he started, “I thought it was going to be MJ. I thought she would remember me. I thought she’d still love me.”

Mutation always carries the territory for the “unfavourable new biology”, especially when it awakens in a certain spider mutant. Or, the one where Peter Parker is in heat and stakes his claim on Frank Castle.
