Summary
When Max's sister signed him up for a dating show, he imagined that he would be on The Bachelor or Love is Blind (not that he wanted to do either of those). Never in his wildest dreams did he think that Victoria would sign him up for Love Island where he would be parading around in his swim suit all summer in hopes of finding love in the middle of Spain.
Max's goal then became to be as authentic as possible, not put up with any bullshit from other islanders, and to try not to cry on national television. Before leaving, Max told his sister that he would probably end up being dumped at the first chance available. Little did he know that after this summer, he would end up admitting that maybe, just maybe, Victoria granted him the biggest gift ever by submitting an application for him.

He was speaking with Lord Sebastian Vettel, and kept touching his arm. He wore blue, not Ferrari red, a river of gossamer silk poured over his body. His bare arms were adorned with thin golden bangles that twinkled in the sun. He must be freezing. George watched Charles throw his head back and laugh. Lord Sebastian looked pleased.
If George knocked all those teeth out of Charles' head and left nothing but stumps and bloody gums, would Max still find him so pretty?
