Medkit always lacked self confidence. Yet everyone saw them as a pretty face. The praise just keep coming and coming.
That wasn't what Medkit wanted, though. He wanted to be a doctor of sorts.This wasn't the path he wanted.
Subspace, on the other hand, was completely fine with the life she had chosen. It wasn't anything he despised, he honestly liked the attention.
The club was lively. Sure, a few degenerates disrupted the spirit every once in a while, but it wasn't that bad! Or that's what you'd be told if you asked Subspace. Medkit thought it was miserable. People were loud, people were lustful, but that wasn't to be unexpected. He just didn't like it. He liked the pay. The money.
Subspace was competition. Alluringly so.
The two were popular, that's for sure.
Subspace loved it. Medkit abhorred it.
A shame that was, as their attitudes would soon be put to the test.Yet, an unexpected fruit seemed to bloom from the bud. A forbidden kind.
