Summary
Dean has a nightmare about his time in Hell. He goes to Cas for reassurance but ends up arguing with him. This triggers Dean's deeply rooted fear of failing the people he loves, especially newly human Cas, and he takes it out on himself. Cas is there to put him back together.

"I'm here, Dean," Cas whispers. "I'm here."
"For now," Dean says, hating how small and pathetic he sounds, a drowning man praying for a passing ship. Cas says nothing, just holds him tighter. Dean knows Castiel won't contradict him, just as he knows that eventually he'll leave again. He'd almost rather hear a lie at this point so he can imagine a future where Cas doesn't abandon him. "You can't leave me again, you hear?" Dean tries again.
"May I remind you, Dean, that last time you were the one who told me I couldn't stay?" Cas says, bitterness in his voice.
After the events of "Holy Terror," Dean prays to Cas for help. They have a heart-to-heart and repair their relationship.

"He's coming down with something," Chas says as he pours steaming coffee into three mugs.
"Sure is," Zed agrees, leaning on the counter. John has been coughing for the past two weeks, actually. She takes her old, cracked mug and holds it to her nose, inhaling the rich scent of coffee. "When I asked him about it, he said it doesn’t matter because, ‘Warlock’s don’t take sick days.’”
Chas rolls his eyes. “Last time this happened he had a cold he ignored so long it turned into pneumonia.”
A fit of coughing comes from the living room.
“It sounded a lot like that,” Chas adds.
