“I’m not crying,” he lies. “I’m—” Swallows, because he doesn’t know how else to get rid of the whole thing. “Tired.” And then, with a glare, he adds, “And you don’t like anything I do anyway.”
And underneath him, Ryuusui laughs, quiet and soft-eyed and somehow, still, exactly himself. “Of course not,” he says. “I love everything you do. There's a difference.” It’s so brutally fucking sincere it takes Sai’s breath away. “I always have.” And just like everything, everything, everything else, it really isn’t fair.
Every year, the Kingdom of Science celebrates the day they all died. No one bothers telling Sai what the party is for.

Summary
Maybe that was what made them different; two extreme sides of the spectrum. Two outcomes of a psychological experiment. Maybe that was what made Ryusui care about him more, that they were both bastards and they were both alone.
Maybe Sai was his exception.
