Izuku was staring up at the U.A. gates, eyes full of sheer wonder. It's the day of the entrance exam, and he is pretty sure this will be the first and last time he will ever walk through this giant gate in his pitiful life.
Izuku immediately banished this thought from his mind. It was the big day, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and he wouldn’t let his negative thoughts get in the way of that, not when he had enough of this kind of thought progress any other day
He took one last breath, plastered his sunshine “ I’m innocent and harmless” smile on his face, he had a reputation to uphold after all, before walking through the gate , hoping hard that it wouldn’t be the last time he walked trough.

Basically Oboro is only able to be sen by Aizawa and Izuku by Shinsou but Oboro and Izuku CAN see each other because they're both ghosts

As y'all know I love Steve Lacy and have for a very long time so ofc I had to write a fic with my fav lyrics from one of bro's most popular songs as the title
Since Oboro sees that Izuku is a young spirit he has to help him and to Izuku someone simply showing basic human (or ghost i should say) decency is a wonder
The title is this part of the song because 1:it's my fav part and 2:in this case it is referring to the way that Oboro hung the stars for Izuku, was playful and had fun while making sure Izuku was ALSO happy, and how Izuku thinks he must greatly thank Oboro but can't because he suck's at words
