“Let me go!” Shanks shouts for the umpteenth time, glaring at the bulging bicep holding him in place. He is, of course, ignored just as he was the last hundred times he demanded his freedom. That doesn’t stop Shanks from wriggling around like an enraged cat, though it does just result in the hold tightening.
Fucking shit.
As the giant, reinforced gate of whoever-the-fuck’s giant house echoes shut behind them, Shanks thinks about his last view of the crew being the sight of them all practically sprawled out across the deck, heavily, heavily hung over.

Summary
Roger can’t say for sure when the changes started, or what even set them off in the first place, but Buggy had begun to make himself…smaller. Quieter. There were some days that, unless Roger actively searched him out, he wouldn’t see Buggy once.
Or, Roger has noticed a strange shift in how Buggy-and by extension, Shanks-has been acting for the past few months. He figures it's about time he got to the bottom of it.
