Endo Yamato is very much fine with his two great unrequited loves Takiishi and Sakura. There is no possible way he could ever develop a thing for someone with as much puppy-dog energy as Nirei; there's just nothing interesting about him... except...
Nirei Akihiko has no interest in Endo other than cataloguing all the ways he's awful in his notebook and protecting his friends from Endo's manipulative charm. It's just a fluke that his usual fight/flight/freeze/fawn response cycle short-circuits in the strangest ways when the man is involved.

Nirei paused as he just stared up at Sakura, he didn’t like how on the nail he had been with his implication. Were they really that obvious? Well.. Suo clearly was. Nirei likes to think he has been keeping his emotions and personal relationships in check.
“Ah.. we just had a small disagreement.. Nothing serious, I’ll clear it up with him!”
