Summary
Of all the Autobots Starscream could have ended up injured and stranded in the desert, Skyfire was the worst. Not because he disliked him more than the other Autobots or feared him; quite the opposite. In fact, Skyfire had always been kind to him, even after his betrayal and defection to the Autobots, which infuriated and confused Starscream's circuits.
Making enemies had never been difficult for Starscream, much less keeping them, but with Skyfire, everything was so challenging. Whenever he tried to attack, annoy, humiliate, or hurt him, Skyfire simply dodged or ignored him, maintaining his usual cheerful and serene demeanor.
This had always driven Starscream crazy, who couldn't find a way to anger the detestable Autobot. Everything would be easier if Skyfire were like the others, hating him for being a Decepticon and looking at him with distaste and resentment.
At least Starscream knew how to deal with that, but Skyfire continued to look at him with those eyes, full of sympathy and a certain affection, something that Starscream detested, didn't he?
