Peter has his evening planned out and half a coffee left. He’s got this.
A voice carries on the breeze.
“Can you believe what they’re saying about Spider-Man? It’s fucking slander.” A teenager says, angrily crumpling a newspaper and throwing it into a trash can.
Peter’s first thought is, what teenager buys the newspaper. His next thought is, don’t do it. Don’t do it, Parker.
But he’s already grabbing the newspaper from the garbage and smoothing out the wrinkles.

This comic has born as a personal challenge. Lately, I've been struggling a lot with a creative block, but “Spider-Man Brand New Day” and “Daredevil” have really helped me get through it.

Matt Murdock was unsure what to expect when he got called in for help. Foggy had said to him the guy looked rather young, about a decade older than Peter, with blond hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and slight muscle.
“Hi, my name is Mathew Murdock, and this is Franklin Nelson,” Matt said, moving to the table and sitting opposite of the man.
“Skip Westcott,” the man - Skip - said.
Matt nodded, “nice to meet you. It says in the files that you allegedly raped a young boy, and yet there is no record of this boy.”
“That’s right,” agreed Skip. “For ten years, I tried telling people, but nobody believed me. And, suddenly someone looked over my file, and saw I was telling the truth.”
