“Hah,” Jaskier exclaimed, although there was no mirth in it. “Had it when I was a child, didn’t I. Can’t catch it again.” He hiccuped sadly. Before this moment Geralt hadn’t known it was possible to hiccup sadly, but Jaskier was a man of many talents. “‘nother round,” he mumbled at the barman.
In the wake of Essi’s death, Geralt finds Jaskier. He’s not doing so well.

This is the greatest Percabeth AU ever maybe????
So so well written, I am in tears. beautiful beautiful slow burn paired with fake-dating, but they're such good friends. Nobody knows each other the way Percy and Annabeth do.
The writing style is gorgeous and the storyline is amazing and the way canon is seamlessly incorporated and alluded to in this mortal AU. I am in awe.
