Doc asked about writing, I said it's going good, she said can I see, I said no it’s a journal it’s private, she said so you haven’t been writing, I said I’ve been writing, she said okay I don’t have to read it just flip through the pages, I didn't say anything, she said that’s what I thought James.

    Summary

“Take all my sympathy as read,” Sam says, “it’s fucked up what they did to you, but my point still stands. If you like pain there’s plenty of normal people you could date.”

“If they like pain,” Bucky snaps, “then they’re not normal. Q.E.D.!” He gets really loud sometimes. “Besides, it’s not just pain. The details of what I need—you’d be horrified if I told you.”

“Yeah? I notice you haven’t tried telling me.” Sam can’t stand people making a big deal about how shocking their kinks are, and he can’t stand Bucky anyway. So it’s not the most palatable combination.
